We create verbatim-led theatre that is visual and interactive in style to bring the unheard stories of people and communities in crisis to the stage.
We originally launched in 2015 with the aim of bringing accessible performances to young people from disadvantaged communities. Our first year saw us produce successful family shows that toured community settings. It has always been our aim to ‘tell a tale’ and to help others tell theirs. This has remained the same. Through our work within communities, it became apparent that there individuals living in them going through extreme times of crisis with no means of being heard. We felt it was vital that we provide a platform for these stories, reflecting these crisis on the stage, using the words of people experiencing them. In moving forward, we hope that by shining a light on the untold stories of people and communities in crisis, we can highlight their plight, raise awareness and challenge misconceptions in society. Every person has a tale to tell, and deserves the platform from which to tell it.
